Accounts and access
- Guest mode: You may browse and search without a Bluesky account, but guest mode is limited to browsing/search and does not include posting, boosting, or other signed-in features.
- Signed-in mode: A Bluesky / AT Protocol account is required to post, comment, boost, and follow. You are responsible for keeping your device and credentials secure.
You must meet the minimum age required where you live (commonly 13+).
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant EpsteinWeb permission to display your content inside the app and format it as needed to operate app features (feeds, profiles, sharing, and search). Only post content you have the right to share.
Boosting
Boosts are intended to surface content. Do not use boosts to spam, manipulate, or promote prohibited content. Abuse may result in limits or restrictions within the app.
Acceptable use
- No illegal content; no harassment/threats/hate; no CSAE/CSAM; no sexually explicit content; no incitement to violence or self-harm; no spam/scams/impersonation/misleading behavior; no IP infringement.
Safety, reporting, and enforcement
EpsteinWeb provides client-side safety tools (report, mute, block, and filtering/hiding content in-app).
When you use Report in EpsteinWeb, the app submits a report to Bluesky / AT Protocol moderation services when available.
Network-level moderation/enforcement (post removals or account actions) is handled by Bluesky and/or your Personal Data Server (PDS) provider. EpsteinWeb is a client app and cannot ban Bluesky accounts or delete other users’ content.
For child safety concerns (CSAE/CSAM), report immediately in-app and/or email support@epsteinweb.org.
Third parties
Bluesky / AT Protocol handles authentication, identity, and storage/serving of network content. Third-party terms apply to external links/services.
Ads/analytics
EpsteinWeb does not currently show ads and does not currently include third-party advertising SDKs. If ads or analytics are added later, these terms will be updated and platform consent rules will be followed.
Service changes and disclaimers
Features may change. Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Restricted content
Must meet minimum age. No gambling/real-money contests. No sexually explicit or illegal content.
